I'm April, the founder of abril.—a skincare line born from my personal journey toward a healthier, more intentional way of living. As I began focusing on wellness from the inside out—eating better, slowing down, and choosing products that genuinely supported my skin—I realized how overwhelming skincare had become. Too many formulas felt overcomplicated, trend-driven, and disconnected from long-term skin health.

I created abril. to offer something simpler and more thoughtful. Clean, effective skincare made with natural ingredients, designed to work in harmony with the skin rather than against it. Each product is intentionally formulated, with every ingredient chosen for a purpose—nothing unnecessary, nothing excessive.

For me, skincare is more than a routine; it's a daily ritual that helps you feel grounded, confident, and connected to yourself. That philosophy lives in every abril. product—eco-conscious, ECO- and COSMOS-certified, and created with intention.

As it stands, the skincare industry is under-regulated, especially in the US where far fewer ingredients are restricted compared to the European market. That said, clean beauty means responsibility and important to the founder of abril.. This means we are committed to solely using safe, high-quality ingredients that care for both your skin and our delicate planet.

With us, transparency is key! Our manufacturer is committed with us and never cut corners. Every product meets strict Clean Beauty Standards. No harmful ingredients, no compromises—just thoughtful formulations designed to protect and nourish.

Our Commitment

All of our products are:

  1. 100% Cruelty Free: Our formulations are created without causing harm to any living creature, now or in the future.
  2. Vegan Formulations: Our formulations are free from animal-derived ingredients, apart from beeswax, which is sourced with strict sustainability practices in mind.

  4. Sustainable sourcing: We use natural resources thoughtfully, ensuring they are preserved for generations to come.

We say no to the ingredients below and are not in any of our products:

  1. Carcinogens
  2. Parabens
  3. Phthalates
  4. SLS Sulfates
  5. Benzines
  6. Silicones & Siloxanes
  7. Toxic Preservatives
  8. Toxic Pigments
  9. Fragrances **If fragrance is used, it’s free from phthalates and synthetic musks.**

Blacklisted Ingredients from our products:

  1. Benzines and its derivatives: Banned due to toxicity and contamination risks.
  2. Carcinogens: Ingredients linked to cancer are strictly avoided.
  3. Parabens: Banned due to links with hormone disruption.
  4. Phtalates: Prohibited as endocrine disruptors.
  5. Preservatives (formaldehyde, BHA, and similar preservatives): We exclude formaldehyde, BHA, and other toxic preservatives known for links to irritation, allergic reactions and potential long-term health risks.
  6. Silicones & Siloxanes: Due to concerns about bioaccumulation and environmental harm.
  7. SLS Sulfates: Banned to protect the skin’s natural barrier.
  8. Synthetic Dyes, Coal Tar, Carbon Black, or Talc: These pigments and fillers are banned due to their links to health risks, including potential carcinogenicity, contamination with heavy metals, and skin irritation.

No Cap, Why?

We skip caps on select products to cut down on excess packaging. It’s a simple, thoughtful way we reduce waste without compromising quality. Don’t worry—products without caps are designed with a secure twist-close closure.
